If you are unsure whether your AEG appliance is worth repairing, feel free to call one of our team with a description of the problem and the product (PNC) number. This way we can give you an idea of the repair cost so you can decide if you would like to book an engineer.

Before booking an engineer it is always best to check a few things; If it is your washing machine or washer dryer that isn’t working first, check the filter. The filter is easily accessible at the bottom right of the washing machine. Simply unscrew the filter and check for anything that may have blocked it. You should clean the filter every month or so. After checking the filter (and cleaning if necessary) check that the socket the washing machine is plugged into is working correctly. Try plugging a kettle or other small appliance into the socket to ensure this is working correctly. After these two simple checks, if your washing machine still isn’t working, speak to one of our team – they may be able to advise something else to check, but if not we can book in an engineer for you.
