Garrett Appliances FAQ
- Do you cover my area?
We cover the majority of South London; Go to this page to see all of the different areas we cover.
- How quickly can you attend?
It all depends on what type of engineer you require (Appliance engineer, electrical engineer or plumber / gas engineer) and what area you are in. Most of the time we have appointments for next day, but sometimes we can even get out the same day! During busy periods, like the lead up to Christmas, we experience slightly longer call out times.
- What type of Engineer do I need?
Appliance Engineers for any domestic appliance / white goods repairs. If an appliance is causing electrics to trip, that would still be an appliance engineer you would need.
Electrical Engineer for anything electrical. Lights not working / power not working / constantly tripping electrics / new electrical supplies / fuse board changes / electrical testing.
Gas Engineers / Plumbers for any leaks (water or gas) / faulty taps / broken shower / heating issues / gas safety certifates.
- What appliances can you repair?
Our fully qualified engineers can repair a wide range of appliances of all manufacturers with the exception of gas appliances. We repair both free standing and built in (integrated) appliances including washing machines, washer dryers, tumble dryers (both vented and condenser), dishwashers, cookers, ovens, hobs, hoods (extractors), all types of refrigeration (including fridges, freezers and fridge freezers).

We certainly do; and if one of our engineers deems your appliance as BER (beyond economic repair) we can have a new appliance with you as quickly as same day! We are a Euronics Centre, so to browse our most popular products you can visit www.euronics.co.uk
- Is it worth repairing my appliance?
If you drop us an email at Send Mail or call us on 020 8680 3936 with your appliance make, model, age and description of the fault we can most likely give you an indication of whether or not it is worth us sending one of our engineers out to you.
- What payment methods do you take?
We accept cash, debit and credit cards (credit cards are charged at 1.5%), BACS / bank transfer and now Barclays PingIT
- Do you give a guarantee with your repairs?
We offer a 6 month guarantee on all of our repairs (for both the part we fit, and the labour). We wish we could give longer, but we only receive 3 months guarantee on parts from our manufacturers.
